I was born in Paris, France, to a Zionist family. My father came from Algiers
and my mother from Paris, while her parents came from Poland and Russia. I
grew up with 3 brothers and was educated in a Jewish school in the center of
Paris, at the same time I started learning to read and write in French, I started
learning Hebrew. I graduated at the age of 17 and immediately began my
studies in dentistry in Paris. which I graduated with honors at the age of 22 (in
1993). I worked as a general dentist for about 4 years and then specialized in
periodontics at the University of Paris. I married my husband who is also a
dentist and together we opened a dental clinic in the center of Paris in 1998
with a high level philosophy and patient service.
I wanted to continue my university career so that I could persevere and
advance at a high level in the field of periodontal diseases. Therefore, I
applied and won the competition to be admitted to the position of lecturer at
the University of Paris. I worked in my private clinic and at the same time I
taught periodontology to students in years 4-6 of their studies. These years
are especially loved by me, they gave me the strong desire to constantly
search for professional excellence.
Throughout the years I participated in many conferences around the world
and published articles in the local and international press. At the same time I
gave a lecture in the field of periodontal diseases. The clinic and the work
were successful, but despite this, I felt that the future for my three children
was not in France, but in Israel. Despite the many difficulties in many respects
(language and leaving family and friends), we sold the clinic in Paris and
moved to Israel in 2007. After 6 months in the studio, I started working in
periodontics and implants in general and private dental clinics. I am a member
of the Histadrut for Second Medicine in Israel, the Israeli Association for
Periodontology and Osseointegration and the French Association for Implants
AF2i.
Teaches in the internship program for implantology and esthetics at Avry
University (Paris XI) France. Often participates in courses and trainings to
maintain a high professional level. Since 2011, works at the Moriah specialist
clinic in Haifa. I am proud to see that even in Israel it is possible to establish
and reach a high and excellent level of medicine and patient service.
Interests
Family – The ability to choose the balance between career and family is very important to me. I chose to be self-employed so I can divide my time between work and my children. I love my role as a mother and invest a lot of time in raising my children and experiencing their childhood with them. I take part in their daily lives and participate in the parents’ committee.
Nature – Even as a child in France, I loved nature and hiking. When I came to Israel, this hobby intensified and I enjoy hiking in our beautiful country with my family. I love to take care of and cultivate the garden.
Sports – For me, sports help me balance work and family. I ride my bike once a week and swim twice, once alone and once with my eldest daughter.
Music – I love listening to and playing classical music. As a child, I studied piano for 12 years at my parents’ house. This piano came with us to Israel and today my two daughters play it.
Baking cakes – Baking sweet things brings joy and happiness and I love to give that to my family and friends.
A positive and happy approach to life is what guides me in my personal and professional life.
