Dr. Rina Elimelech


Dr. Rina Elimelech, a specialist in periodontal diseases, completed her residency program at the Department of Periodontics at Rambam Medical Center. She acquired her degree in Dentistry at university in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2002. She is a graduate of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, in the United States (in 2003). She then returned to South Africa and worked as a general dentist. After her immigration to Israel, she began her residency program in Periodontics at Rambam in 2009.

Dr. Elimelech is a member of the Israeli Society of Periodontology and the European Federation of Periodontics and the Israel Dental Association.

She lectures at national conferences and has published numerous professional articles in international journals.

A personal note: In 2006, I fulfilled my dream and immigrated to Israel. I am married and the mother of two beautiful children. My hobbies include art, ceramics, architecture and travel around the world. I aspire to be up-to-date in the latest literature and new studies in the field of periodontics.
