The Dental Clinic: It’s All About Communication

e, as dentists, invest a lot of resources to maintain a high level of professionalism, and do not hesitate to participate in any conference or course possible, so as to stay current and keep ourselves updated. But it is not always the professional ability and knowledge of a dentist that determine how "a patient chooses a dentist," but other factors. Factors such as how dentists "communicate", that is, create connections with people, patients, their professional environment, and the image they have built for themselves. All of these are elements of paramount significance in the patient's decision. Because in life, everything is communication - and in the clinic as well.

Did you know that 80% of the messages received by patients are nonverbal or indirect, with only 20% being received through words and their actual content...?

What is the power of the smile, the passport to positive communication?
Why is eye contact so important? Because the eyes speak before everything else!
And if “clothes make the man”, what is the role of dress and proper appearance?
And so many other matters such as: body language, which reveals the mind, touch and our personal bubbles of private space, the tone and pace of our speech, sometimes more important than the words themselves.

In fact, all the little details that together build the image of the dentist and the clinic - these are what promote the actual product: the dentist's professionalism!
We will learn how to improve our ability to receive and treat a new patient, and how the first 60 seconds determine the outcome.
We will internalize that service is not a derogatory word. We will distinguish between reputation, image and advertising. We will not hesitate to talk about prices while taking competition into account. We will examine how to deal with an unhappy patient.

Finally, we will consider a number of ideas to vary our routine, maintain our level of motivation every morning, or, in other words ... "How to be happy at work."
Many years of experience and a love for communication have given me the desire to share my personal experiences with my fellow dentists.
This is not just another marketing course, but a look at a clinic from a new angle, which may alter many paradigms in the daily practice of every dentist.

A full day of communication, an unforgettable experience unlike any other course.
